Your dog’s license tag is not proof of current rabies vaccination. We require written proof from a veterinarian of current rabies vaccination with the expiration date prior to your dog’s visit with us.

Exceptions considered only with a signed note from your pet’s veterinarian stating the reason for not being vaccinated, even with a signed note we retain the right to refuse grooming services to any and all un-vaccinated animals at our discretion. All vaccinations must be updated in our files upon yearly renewal.

1. Rabies - In accordance with Chapter 141, Sec. 145B of the Massachusetts State General Laws and 105 Code of Massachusetts (CMR) 330 which requires that all dogs and cats in Massachusetts be vaccinated against rabies by six months of age, all pets six months and older must show proof of current rabies vaccination to be groomed (including nail trims) at Amherst Dog Wash, LLC. Proof of vaccination must be updated yearly.
